Landed cost from China: checklist and an adder, not a duty table
6 min read · Field notes from Seven Color’s China desk and Dubai hub.
Landed cost is EXW or FOB goods, plus inland, plus inspection, plus international freight, plus whatever your destination actually charges. Sourcing Center does not publish duty or VAT tables by HS code. The published inspection rate is USD 110 per inspector day. Other lines are your numbers or an RFQ quote.
Checklist
- Unit cost on the Incoterm you actually signed.
- Quantity, packing, and whether inland to Xiamen is included.
- Inspector days if you want a formal lot check.
- Sea, air, or express to the real destination, not a screenshot rate.
- Destination clearance, duties, and last-mile, quoted locally, not guessed here.
Illustrative adder
Add the numbers you already have. This is not a duty, VAT, or HS-code table. Inspection uses the published rate of USD 110 per inspector day. Everything else is your input.
Working total: USD 110
Confirm the real quote on the RFQ. We do not publish a sourcing commission percentage or a general freight tariff on this site.
UAE / GCC notes: Incoterms for GCC · sourcing for the UAE · what we publish on cost.
