RCL: new weekly China–Indonesia RCI05 from 8 Nov; Qingdao–Shanghai–Nansha–Jakarta–Surabaya

Container News (24 Sep 2026) reports Regional Container Lines and partners will launch weekly service RCI05 linking Qingdao, Shanghai and Nansha with Jakarta and Surabaya, then Singapore. The full rotation is 28 days; vessels of about 2,800–4,300 TEU will be used. Maiden departure from Qingdao is scheduled for 8 November 2026.

On 24 September 2026, Container News reported that Regional Container Lines (RCL) and its partners will launch a new weekly China–Indonesia service branded RCI05.

The published rotation is Qingdao – Shanghai – Nansha – Jakarta – Surabaya – Singapore – Qingdao. The complete loop is stated as 28 days, with vessel capacity in the 2,800–4,300 TEU range.

According to the schedule table carried by Container News, typical calls fall on Qingdao Sunday/Monday, Shanghai Wednesday/Thursday, Nansha Sunday, Jakarta Friday/Sunday, Surabaya Tuesday/Wednesday, and Singapore Friday/Saturday.

The maiden voyage is scheduled to depart Qingdao on 8 November 2026. RCL said covering Qingdao, Shanghai and Nansha gives shippers access across North, East and South China, with Singapore providing relay into RCL’s wider network.

GACC via SCIO: China goods trade +18.8% in first three quarters to 39.94 trillion yuan
