On 13 October 2026, the 'Jingtie Yanzhao Train · Shijiazhuang Land Port' left Shijiazhuang International Land Port in Hebei for Kashgar in Xinjiang, carrying 110 TEU of cargo. China News Service reports that this is the first international rail-road service in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region run as a single logistics package (the 'single-document' model). It gives the region's exporters a new route to Central Asia.
The train carries auto parts, machinery and other goods from the region. According to Shijiazhuang Daily, the cargo will move by truck from Kashgar to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, Dushanbe in Tajikistan, Tashkent in Uzbekistan and other cities, serving southern Central Asia. It is the 10th route under the Jingtie Yanzhao brand and is jointly operated by the Beijing branch of China Railway International Multimodal Transport and Hebei Land Port Train Operations.
Under the 'single-document' model, customers pay once, book once and use one document for the whole trip. China Railway Container Transport issues a multimodal bill of lading and manages the journey inside and outside China. The rail operator says the seamless rail-road connection cuts transport and clearance time by more than 30%. Shijiazhuang International Land Port's general manager, Liu Jinpeng, says the Kashgar route adds a southern Xinjiang exit, which reduces reliance on a single corridor.
The same day, a Shijiazhuang–Tacheng rail-road service also departed. It first ran on 1 October and now runs on a fixed timetable. Together, the southern (Kashgar) and northern (Tacheng) routes give North China suppliers two complementary exits to Central Asia. Shijiazhuang International Land Port now runs 20 international routes covering the main economic centres of Eurasia.
