What this product is

A clip-on ring light looks like a simple gift item, and the factories that make them treat it that way until you ask about the LEDs. The useful spec is diameter, color temperature, whether dimming is real or a two-step switch, and how the clip holds a phone without a rubber pad that falls off. Some versions are USB-only. Some hide a small lithium cell in the handle. Those are different quotes and different paperwork. A buyer who only sends a photo will get a wide range. A buyer who states power source, ring diameter, and the clip opening will get something a desk can compare. Private label here is usually a color and a logo on an existing clip, plus a short manual. A new optical ring is tooling. The band below is indicative ex-works for a common clip-on platform before freight and, if a cell is inside, before battery paperwork. Do not call it daylight-balanced unless you have measured it.

Why it is interesting

The clip platform is already tooled at many small electronics plants, so a first run can stay on color and brand.
Power source is a clean fork in the quote: a USB light and a light with a cell should not be priced as the same SKU.

What to specify

Ring: State diameter in millimeters. Common clip-on sizes are small, not studio rings
Power: USB-only or a cell in the handle. Say which before the quote
Light: Ask for steps of brightness and whether color temperature changes
Clip: Opening width and a pad. Test it on the phone you care about
Manual: Short card in the destination language if you are branding the box

Customization and private label

Housing color, a logo, and a printed manual are typical. LED count and a new clip geometry are not a color change.

Note 2. Photograph the sample at the brightness you will claim. A render is brighter than a cheap LED.
