What this product is

A compact canister stove is an outdoor product with a safety story. The interesting factories already make screw-on burners and can change the color, a logo, and the stuff sack. They should be able to say which canister thread they support and what the pot support holds. A buyer who wants a new valve is asking for a different project. A buyer who wants a trail stove in their color is asking for a platform. Pack copy must not promise a wind performance the sample does not have. The band below is indicative for a simple screw-on stove without the canister, a piezo that may or may not be included, and before freight. Fuel canisters are a separate regulated item and are not part of this note.

What to specify

Mount: Screw-on canister. Name the thread. Canister not included
Support: Pot support diameter and a stated load
Ignition: Say if a piezo is required or if a lighter is assumed
Packed size: Millimeters, because retail shelves and kits care
Sack: Optional nylon sack with a brand mark

Customization and private label

Anodized color, a laser logo, and a stuff sack are common. A new valve or pot support is tooling.
