What this product is

A folding colander is a home product that looks soft in a photo and is actually a materials and mold question. The rim and base are usually plastic, and the wall is silicone that has to fold without splitting at the joint. Food contact is the point of the item, so the brief should name the silicone and the plastic and ask what document the factory can actually give, rather than printing a slogan. Size should be a diameter and a capacity, because 'large' means a different tool at the next factory. Private label is color, a small logo on the rim, and a hang tag or carton. A new fold geometry is a mold. The sample should hold hot pasta water without collapsing, and it should nest flat the way the carton claims. The range below is an indicative ex-works band for an existing fold, one or two colors, before freight and retail packaging. Do not claim oven use or a temperature the sample has not seen.
