China News Service reported from Jinzhong on 16 October 2026 that a China-Europe Railway Express train loaded with auto parts, ceramic products and other cargo departed Zhongding Logistics Park that day, bound for Belarus. It was the 1,000th outbound China-Europe train organised by China Railway Taiyuan Group Co., Ltd.
The train carried 55 containers. It leaves China through the Manzhouli border crossing in Inner Mongolia and is scheduled to reach its destination in about 13 days. To keep it on time, the railway coordinated with China Railway Container's Taiyuan branch, Huayuan Land Port Group and other partners on cargo sourcing, wagon allocation and loading.
Since its first China-Europe train in February 2017, China Railway Taiyuan Group has built a network centred on Zhongding Logistics Park. Trains exit through four border crossings: Manzhouli, Erenhot, Alashankou and Khorgos. The group runs 26 regular trunk routes reaching 48 major cities in 17 countries across Asia and Europe.
For buyers, the milestone means Shanxi's manufacturers, including its auto parts and ceramics producers, have a well-established rail option to Europe and Central Asia that does not require trucking to a coastal port first.
