China News reported from Quzhou on 21 October 2026 that the Zhejiang International Chamber of Commerce and Quzhou's council for the promotion of international trade co-hosted an international buyer event for the refrigeration industry on 20 and 21 October. Thirty-five international buyers from 16 countries met more than 50 refrigeration company representatives from Zhejiang and other provinces.
Quzhou is an important base for the fluorochemical industry and is working to build what it calls China's Fluorine Valley. It has three core producers, Juhua, Yonghe and Huanxin, plus 12 processing companies including Lianzhou, Zhongfu and Jushen, forming a complete chain from fluorspar and hydrofluoric acid to finished refrigerant products, with output of about 16.7 billion yuan in 2025.
The participating Quzhou companies cover refrigerant production, repackaging and blending, and can meet varied purchasing needs for different markets, the report said. Organizers said the event aims to bring buyers in to choose products directly and to build long-term trade cooperation.
A trade commissioner from Nigeria's consulate general in Shanghai said global refrigeration demand is strong, that many developing countries need more cold chain capacity to reduce farm produce losses, and that China is an important supply source. During the event, buyers also visited companies including Juhua and Jushen to move cooperation toward orders.
