What this product is

A vacuum wine stopper set is a small bar tool: a pump, one or more stoppers, and a seal that has to hold overnight. It is not a preservation guarantee, and the carton should not read like one. Factories that already mold these pumps can change color, a logo, and how many stoppers sit in the gift box. The valve and the rubber are what fail. A new pump body is tooling. A useful brief states stopper count, whether the pump is the existing pistol or cylinder style, and the bottle mouth it must fit. Test it on a real bottle, leave it, and see if the stopper releases or the vacuum gauge, if there is one, is only a decoration. The range below is an indicative ex-works band for a common pump plus two stoppers, before a printed box and freight. Wine itself is not part of this quote. Do not print a number of days the wine will 'stay fresh' unless you have a test you are willing to stand behind, and even then word it as a limit, not a promise.

What to specify

Set: Pump plus a stated stopper count. Two is a common starter
Fit: Standard still-wine mouth. Sparkling bottles are a different stopper
Seal: Rubber or silicone. Ask which, and look at it on the sample
Gauge: If a vacuum indicator is shown, check that it moves
Box: Gift carton artwork is its own proof

Customization and private label

Color, a logo, stopper count, and the gift box are common. A new valve is not a color change.
