China News reported from Tianjin on 4 November 2026 that Tianjin Xingang Customs said the MYDZHANGZHOU sailing left Tianjin Port that day for Malaysia, marking a new direct Southeast Asia liner for the Tianjin gateway with furniture, building materials and light-industry cargo on board.
The loop is jointly operated by Nam Sung Shipping, Pacific International Lines and Pan Continental Shipping with four container ships on a weekly schedule. The published rotation is Tianjin-Qingdao-Xiamen-Singapore-Port Klang-Penang-Nansha-Tianjin, covering North and South China plus Singapore and Malaysia.
Customs and the carrier said cargo from Tianjin to Singapore and Malaysia previously often moved via Busan. The direct loop shortens sailing time by 5 to 10 days and is described as one of the faster North China to Singapore/Malaysia ocean options. Links at Singapore, Port Klang and Penang also support feeder coverage into India and Pakistan.
Nam Sung's Tianjin representative said the two-way schedule targets China furniture, building materials, light industry and chemicals outbound, with rubber, wool products and bicycle parts among inbound Southeast Asia commodities. Tianjin Xingang Customs said it assigned dedicated staff to follow manifest data for faster release.
