China News reported from Shanghai on 27 October 2026 that on 26 October batches of Italian jewellery and Swiss watches held CIIE pre-shows at the Huangpu Bund BFC bonded warehouse and the Jing'an Zhangyuan bonded warehouse, then were set to move via the CIIE express corridor straight to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), known as the "Clover".
The corridor is a green channel Shanghai Customs built between downtown commercial districts and the CIIE venue. After a General Administration of Customs pilot last year, Shanghai Customs has made the policy routine: eligible bonded warehouses may run bonded display and trading at the CIIE halls, with point-to-point moves as fast as about 35 minutes and without routing through another customs special supervision area or bonded logistics centre.
This year the corridor is split by specialty: Jing'an Zhangyuan focuses on international premium and niche luxury brands; the Yuyuan International Jewellery bonded warehouse focuses on custom design and high-end jewellery; and the Donghao Lansheng public bonded warehouse focuses on first-launch and fast-fashion brands, covering the Nanjing West Road area, the Huaihai Xintiandi trade demonstration zone, and Shanghai's jewellery fashion cluster around Yuyuan.
Shanghai Customs said bonded warehouses have already declared more than 30 million yuan of exhibit value for this CIIE, up 66% year on year. The newly approved Yuyuan jewellery bonded warehouse expects to handle more than 44 million yuan of bonded goods value for the full year.
