Sichuan Online reported on 30 October 2026 that Chengdu formally launched a port-logistics service into industrial parks programme, upgrading an earlier international rail into parks drive that began in March.
Since March, Chengdu's international rail into parks action has covered 52 industrial parks, moved more than 35,000 TEU and supported transport needs of more than 230 industrial and trade enterprises. The 30 October upgrade adds four express service brands: international air routes, international rail, port and customs facilitation, and chain-leader logistics firms.
International air express targets business travel and air cargo, building enterprise lists and service product menus and offering one-enterprise-one-plan and volume-price bundled custom air solutions. International rail express extends China-Europe and related train products across key industrial and services firms, with full-cycle go-to-market logistics support and deeper links into Chengdu-Deyang-Meishan-Ziyang co-city and CE train consolidation bases.
Port-service express works with Chengdu Customs and district governments to take facilitation policies into parks, with briefings aimed at electronics, auto manufacturing, biopharma and cross-border e-commerce firms. Chain-leader express pairs logistics providers with manufacturers and traders and builds port-logistics-plus application scenes around each park's lead industries.
Chengdu Port and Logistics Office said five mechanisms (lists, multi-party coordination, zone liaison teams, reporting and experience sharing) will support the year-long push to match port-logistics resources with the city's 3+22+N park system and track channel use, order fulfilment and cost cuts.
