COSCO Yangpu: weekly Yangpu-Nansha-Laem Chabang loop opens with 2,436 TEU first call

Hainan Port and Shipping Holding material dated 2 November 2026 said vessel Zhou Run Zhejiang left COSCO Shipping Yangpu on the evening of 1 November, opening an X-Press Yangpu-Nansha-Laem Chabang weekly loop with two ships planned. First-call handling hit 2,436 TEU: Thai tropical farm goods and rubber inbound to Yangpu; tiles, bentonite cat litter and other cargo from Qingdao, Rizhao, Xiamen and Fuzhou outbound to Laem Chabang and Bangkok.

Material from Hainan Port and Shipping Holding, published via Tonghuashun on 2 November 2026, said that at 20:00 on 1 November vessel Zhou Run Zhejiang departed COSCO Shipping Yangpu Port, opening the Yangpu-Laem Chabang container service. Public feeder operator X-Press runs the loop.

Published rotation is Yangpu-Nansha-Laem Chabang-Yangpu. The operator plans two ships within the year on a weekly schedule to give regional trade a higher-frequency, steadier slot option into Thailand.

First-call container handling at Yangpu reached 2,436 TEU with two-way cargo described as ample. Inbound examples include fresh coconuts, rubber and sawn timber from Laem Chabang. Outbound cargo such as tiles and bentonite cat litter from Qingdao, Rizhao, Xiamen, Fuzhou and other origins consolidates at Yangpu for Laem Chabang and Bangkok, forming a loaded-both-ways pattern.

The port links the launch to Hainan Free Trade Port tools such as the China Yangpu Port registry, departure-port tax rebate and bonded bunker, plus Yangpu's position facing Southeast Asia on the Western Land-Sea New Corridor. COSCO Shipping Yangpu said it will keep full-process berth support so the string can run stably; bookers should still verify weekly cutoffs and equipment as the second ship enters service.
